​​Angus is a media and public affairs specialist experienced in navigating the rapidly changing issues environment. 

Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Angus was a Senior Producer on 2GB’s breakfast radio program, covering the leading political stories of the day. Angus’s skills include a first-hand knowledge of how the media works and its interface with politics, business and the community. His strengths include writing, analysis, research, and the presentation of issues.  
 
Angus also has experience as a television producer at Sky News. It’s here Angus first gained experience with the cut and thrust of national and state politics. Angus’ time in the media has given him a deep understanding of who the key stakeholders are across Australia’s biggest industries, and what makes the 24-hour media cycle tick.  
 
Angus holds a Master of International Relations majoring in US Foreign Policy and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in politics and philosophy from the University of Sydney. ​
